**Nexus Mentality** would fit best in a blue-based Commander deck built around +1/+1 counters, loyalty counters, charge counters, or other scalable counter strategies—especially decks like Atraxa, Praetors’ Voice; Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus; Vorel of the Hull Clade; or any Simic proliferate shell—because it either consolidates counters onto a key threat (e.g., stacking planeswalker loyalty or moving +1/+1 counters onto an evasive finisher) or converts them into card draw, with strong synergy in Commander where choosing both modes makes it a flexible value and combo tool; however, compared to existing options, it faces competition from cards like **The Ozolith** (more efficient counter preservation), **Resourceful Defense** (repeatable counter moving), **Power Conduit** (repeatable counter manipulation), and especially **Fathom Mage**, **Inspiring Call**, or **Deepglow Skate** in dedicated counter decks, which often generate more explosive or repeatable value, and four mana at instant sp
