The Endstone would be best suited for a control deck that focuses on card advantage and incremental card draw, as the ability to draw a card whenever you play a land or cast a spell provides significant value over time. However, the life total reduction at the end of each turn could be a drawback, making the card potentially better in more aggressive strategies where the card draw is crucial to maintaining momentum. As card choices can vary depending on the overall strategy of your deck, there may be more efficient alternatives to The Endstone, such as cards that provide card advantage without the life total drawback like Phyrexian Arena or Outpost Siege. Ultimately, the decision to include The Endstone in a deck should be based on its synergy with the overall game plan and potential risks involved.
