Peste necrótica, Encantamiento - aura, diseñada por Jaime Jones lanzado por primera vez en Jul, 2010 en edición Magic 2011. Actualmente se vende al precio más bajo de 4.28.

Un mazo centrado en sacrificar criaturas por valor, como un mazo de sacrificio o reanimador, se beneficiaría del uso de Necrotic Plague, ya que proporciona una fuente recurrente de eliminación e interrupción de criaturas. Si bien puede haber opciones de eliminación más eficientes disponibles, la capacidad de Necrotic Plague de regresar continuamente al campo de batalla puede ser ventajosa en ciertos enfrentamientos, lo que la convierte en una opción viable para mazos que buscan controlar el tablero mediante sinergias de sacrificio.

Necrotic Plague grants the sacrifice ability to the creature it’s enchanting. That means it triggers at the beginning of the upkeep of the creature’s controller (not necessarily Necrotic Plague’s controller).

The player that controls Necrotic Plague at the time the enchanted creature is put into a graveyard is the player who controls the last ability (even though that creature’s controller is the one who chooses its target). The first player returns Necrotic Plague to the battlefield under their control, regardless of whose graveyard it was put into. Note that the ability is mandatory; a target must be chosen if able, and Necrotic Plague must be returned to the battlefield if able.
