It pairs well with cards that double counters (like Doubling Season), boost tokens (like Jetmir, Nexus of Revels), or reward constant attacking, making it strongest in Commander or grindy midrange shells rather than fast competitive formats. However, at four mana and requiring a full turn cycle before generating real value, it would likely be too slow for high-powered formats compared to stronger token engines like Fable of the Mirror-Breaker (which provides immediate value and card selection) or Esika’s Chariot (which generates board presence immediately and snowballs faster), so while flavorful and potentially strong in casual or Command
