Hofri Ghostforge would be a great addition to a Boros (Red/White) token or aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing a powerful boost to spirits with trample and haste, as well as a unique recursion ability. While it offers strong synergies and potential for explosive plays, its high mana cost may make it less efficient in faster-paced competitive environments compared to other cards like Anax, Hardened in the Forge or Legion Warboss, which offer immediate board impact at lower costs. However, in a more midrange or casual setting, Hofri Ghostforge could definitely see play for its unique abilities and potential to create a strong board presence.

Each Spirit token you create refers only to the card you exile during the resolution of the ability that created that token. When it leaves the battlefield, you return only that card to your graveyard, not any other card exiled by Hofri.

Hofri Ghostforge’s last ability is linked to the ability it grants the Spirit token. If a replacement effect causes you to create more than one Spirit token with this effect, they will all have that ability, and the exiled card will be returned to the graveyard if any of them leaves the battlefield.
