The Pride Guardian card would be beneficial in a white control deck that focuses on gaining life and stalling the game. While it provides a steady source of life gain, there are potentially better options like Wall of Reverence which has a higher toughness and provides a consistent life gain every turn. However, if the deck needs more early-game defense and a lower mana cost, Pride Guardian could still see play in certain strategies.
