A deck focused on creating and utilizing a large number of Elf creatures would benefit from including Lathril, Blade of the Elves as it provides a strong token generation engine and a powerful life drain ability. While there may be other powerful Elf-centric cards in Magic: the Gathering, Lathril's ability to create a significant number of tokens and drain life from opponents makes it a strong contender for inclusion in Elf tribal decks, especially those focused on aggressive strategies.
