Hour of Promise is a valuable addition to ramp decks in Magic: the Gathering, particularly those focused on land-based strategies. Decks that aim to quickly ramp up their mana production and take advantage of powerful land synergies would benefit from this card, as it efficiently fetches two land cards onto the battlefield. While Hour of Promise is a solid choice for such decks, there are potentially better options available, such as Primeval Titan, which can search for any two land cards and put them directly onto the battlefield, making it a stronger choice for ramp strategies. However, Hour of Promise can still see play in decks looking to specifically trigger the creation of Zombie tokens through the Desert synergy.
