Lord Magnus would be a great addition to a Selesnya (Green-White) deck in Magic: the Gathering, especially in a deck focused on creature combat and utilizing plainswalk and forestwalk abilities. However, there are better options available for similar mana costs that provide more impactful abilities or synergies with other cards, such as Sigarda, Host of Herons or Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. While Lord Magnus has some utility, it may not be the most optimal choice for competitive play compared to other options available.

The statement that creatures with Plainswalk or Forestwalk can be blocked applies to all creatures on the battlefield blocking them, and not just to Lord Magnus.
