Old Hob, Alleycat Blues fits best in a Boros (red‑white) go‑wide tokens or aristocrats-style deck that wants repeatable creature generation to fuel anthem effects, sacrifice outlets, or attack-trigger synergies, since it produces a hasty 2/2 every combat and can protect a key attacking token with indestructible; it works especially well with cards like Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, or sacrifice payoffs such as Goblin Bombardment.
