This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on drawing a lot of cards, such as a blue-green ramp or card draw deck. Burlfist Oak's ability to grow in power whenever you draw a card can quickly make it a formidable threat on the battlefield. However, there are better options out there for similar effects, such as Tarmogoyf or Scavenging Ooze, which offer more consistent and impactful abilities. Burlfist Oak could see play in more casual or budget decks, but in competitive settings, there are stronger alternatives available.
