A Minotaur tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering would benefit from using Altar of Mogis, as it synergizes well with sacrificing Minotaurs for value. However, there are better cards for this strategy such as Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion or Angrath, the Flame-Chained, which provide more immediate and impactful effects. Altar of Mogis could see play in a casual Minotaur-themed deck, but may not be competitive enough for more high-level play.
