Scriv, the Obligator would fit best in an Orzhov (white-black) midrange, aristocrats, or political multiplayer Commander deck that pressures opponents while generating incremental value, since it creates repeatable attack-based tension and synergizes with enchantment, token, and sacrifice themes; it’s especially interesting in multiplayer formats where forcing attacks elsewhere can redirect aggression and drain life over time.
