This card, Swords to Plowshares, is a staple in white control decks in Magic: the Gathering due to its efficient removal of threats, especially big creatures, while providing life gain to the opponent is often negligible. It is highly recommended in decks that focus on controlling the board and surviving until the late game. While there are other removal spells like Path to Exile and Declaration in Stone, Swords to Plowshares is still considered one of the best removal spells in the game and should definitely see play in decks that can benefit from its powerful effect.
