This Vedalken Blademaster card would be a great fit in a blue-based tempo or control deck that focuses on casting a lot of noncreature spells to trigger its prowess ability and pump it up. While it can be a solid addition to such a deck, there are potentially better options like Delver of Secrets or Snapcaster Mage that offer more versatility and impact. However, if the deck is built around prowess triggers, Vedalken Blademaster could definitely see play and contribute to a winning strategy.
