A control deck that focuses on tempo and disrupting the opponent's board would benefit from including Rush of Ice. While it provides a cheap and efficient way to tap down a key creature and keep it locked down for a turn, there may be better options available depending on the specific strategy of the deck, such as Vapor Snag or Unsummon for more flexibility. However, Rush of Ice could still see play in certain metagames or decks looking for a specific effect.
