This card, Scream Puff, would be a great addition to a black-based control deck that focuses on generating value through creature removal and life gain. While its ability to create Food tokens can provide incremental life gain, there are potentially better cards that offer more impactful effects for the same mana cost. However, Scream Puff could see play in a deck looking to grind out games with a defensive strategy and incremental advantage.
