Support Mission fits green creature-heavy decks that repeatedly create or blink creatures, especially token and +1/+1 counter strategies led by commanders such as [[Rishkar, Peema Renegade]], [[Kyler, Sigardian Emissary]], or [[Ivy Lane Denizen]]: it rewards each creature entering immediately and becomes more efficient once five creatures have entered. It is likely too slow for optimized formats, however, since it does nothing until another creature is played and needs five triggers before reaching its best rate; [[Hardened Scales]] is generally better for counter decks because it costs only one mana and improves every +1/+1-counter event, while [[Branching Evolution]] is better when the deck places counters in larger batches and [[Tribute to the World Tree]] is stronger in creature decks that also want card draw. Support Mission should see play as a reasonable casual Commander inclusion in dedicated token, blink, or counters decks, but not as a staple or competitive option.
