**Sygg’s Command** would fit best in an Azorius (White‑Blue) Merfolk tribal deck, especially one that leans into tempo, +1/+1 counters, tap control, or value-based board development, since copying a key Merfolk (like a lord or one with a strong triggered ability) can generate strong board presence while the other modes offer flexibility—lifelink for racing, a card draw mode for value, or a tap + stun counter for tempo control; however, while its flexibility is nice, it competes with stronger and more efficient options depending on the build: **Glasspool Mimic** or **Spark Double** are often better for copying, **Cryptic Command** or **Archmage’s Charm** provide far more impactful versatility in control shells, and dedicated Merfolk staples like **Merrow Reejerey**, **Svyelun of Sea and Sky**, or **Collected Company** (in Bant builds) typically provide more raw power, so while Sygg’s Command is solid in casual or mid‑power tribal builds due to its modal flexibility, it is unlikely to se

One or more stun counters on a permanent create a single replacement effect that stops the permanent from untapping. That effect is "If a permanent with a stun counter on it would become untapped, instead remove a stun counter from it."

Some older cards were originally printed with the "tribal" card type. That card type has been replaced with "kindred." This change does not affect the gameplay function of these cards.

The token created by the first mode of Sygg's Command copies exactly what was printed on the original permanent and nothing else (unless that permanent is copying something else or is a token; see below). It doesn't copy whether that permanent is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras and Equipment attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, and so on.
