Tweeze fits best in aggressive or midrange red decks—especially ones that value cheap interaction with reach—such as Mono-Red Aggro, Izzet Prowess, Rakdos Midrange, or spell-slinger builds that benefit from casting noncreature spells while smoothing draws; the rummage effect (optional discard then draw) is particularly useful in graveyard-synergy decks (e.g., Arclight Phoenix, delirium, reanimator shells) or in lists that sometimes flood out. However, at three mana, it competes with more efficient burn like **Lightning Bolt**, **Play with Fire**, **Lightning Strike**, or **Wizard’s Lightning**, and with stronger three-mana options like **Skewer the Critics** (often cheaper in practice) or **Obliterating Bolt** in certain metas; compared to these, Tweeze is likely underpowered unless the format is slower or highly values the discard-draw flexibility.
