**Armor Wars** fits best in a blue‑red (Izzet) artifact deck—especially one that floods the board with artifacts and leverages cost reduction and big mana values, such as Commander artifact builds (e.g., Breya, Jhoira, Urza variants) or Standard/Pioneer artifact shells if available. Chapter I rewards going wide with artifacts (Treasure, Thopters, Clues, cheap rocks), Chapter II helps chain artifact spells in a big turn, and Chapter III finishes with a burst of damage if you control a high–mana value artifact (like Portal to Phyrexia or Cityscape Leveler). However, giving opponents cards on Chapter I is a real drawback, and at four mana it’s relatively slow compared to stronger artifact payoffs like **Thought Monitor** (card draw without helping opponents), **Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain** (continuous draw engine), **Emry, Lurker of the Loch** (recursion and cost efficiency), or **Urza, Lord High Artificer** (mana engine and win condition).
