This card, Blood Beckoning, would be beneficial in a Black-based graveyard recursion deck in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are potentially better cards like Gravedigger or Rise Again that offer similar effects at a more efficient cost, so Blood Beckoning may not see as much play in competitive decks unless the kicker ability is crucial to the strategy.
