Bookwurm would be a beneficial addition to a green-based midrange or ramp deck that aims to gain incremental advantage and card advantage over time. While its high cost may be a downside, its ability to provide life gain, card draw, and graveyard recursion can be valuable in longer games. However, there are better cards that could provide similar benefits more efficiently, such as Tarmogoyf or Questing Beast, which also have immediate board impact. Considering its high cost and situational benefits, Bookwurm may not be a top-tier choice for competitive play but could still be fun in more casual or thematic decks.
