While it's a solid removal spell for dealing with creatures with power 3 or less, there are more versatile options like Fatal Push or Dismember that can handle a wider range of threats and see more play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks. Complete Disregard could be a situational sideboard card in specific metagames, but it may not be a top choice for main deck inclusion.

Cards with devoid use frames that are variations of the transparent frame traditionally used for Eldrazi. The top part of the card features some color over a background based on the texture of the hedrons that once imprisoned the Eldrazi. This coloration is intended to aid deckbuilding and game play.
