A deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's hand and resources would benefit from including Duress. Decks that aim to control the game by removing key cards from the opponent's hand can use Duress effectively to disrupt their plans. While there are other similar cards like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek that offer more flexibility by targeting any card type, Duress can still be a valuable inclusion in decks that specifically want to target noncreature, nonland cards. Whether Duress should see play depends on the specific strategy and meta of the deck, but it can certainly be a strong choice in the right context.
