A deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's hand and resources would benefit from including Elderfang Disciple, as it provides immediate value by forcing each opponent to discard a card upon entering the battlefield. While there may be more powerful discard options available in Magic: The Gathering, such as Liliana of the Veil or Thoughtseize, Elderfang Disciple can still be a solid inclusion in decks that aim to control the opponent's hand size and disrupt their game plan.

As the triggered ability resolves, first the next opponent in turn order (or, if it’s an opponent’s turn, the opponent whose turn it is) chooses a card in hand and sets it aside without revealing it. Then each other opponent in turn order does the same. Finally, all chosen cards are revealed and discarded at the same time.
