Extremis Elite would fit best in an aggressive or midrange red deck that wants early board presence with scalable late‑game mana sinks, such as Mono‑Red Aggro, Rakdos Midrange, or Gruul counters strategies, since it comes down early for {1}{R} and later turns excess mana into permanent +1/+1 growth plus incidental damage that can pressure planeswalkers or finish off creatures or opponents; the “reduce the cost if it entered this turn” clause particularly rewards curving it out and immediately activating for tempo.
