While there may be more powerful options available in certain situations, such as cards that offer immediate removal or stronger enchantment auras, Fate Foretold could find a place in decks looking to maintain card advantage and outvalue opponents over the course of a game.

If the target of an Aura is illegal when it tries to resolve, the Aura won’t resolve. The Aura doesn’t enter the battlefield, so you won’t get to draw a card.
