This card would be beneficial in a Goblin tribal deck or a deck that focuses on sacrificing artifacts for value. While Goblin Barrage offers flexibility with its kicker ability, there are potentially better options such as Lightning Bolt or Skewer the Critics for more efficient removal or direct damage. However, Goblin Barrage could still see play in decks looking for additional reach or synergy with sacrificing effects.

You can’t cast Goblin Barrage unless you choose a creature as a target, even if it’s kicked. However, you can target a Goblin or artifact creature you control and then sacrifice it to pay the kicker cost. The target player or planeswalker will be dealt 4 damage.
