While Hindering Touch can be effective in certain situations, more commonly played cards like Mana Leak or Force of Will might offer more versatility and efficiency in countering spells. However, Hindering Touch could still see play in specific metagames or sideboard situations where its Storm ability can provide a significant advantage.
