Kree Sentinel (4R for an artifact creature with reach and basic landcycling {2}) would fit best in a slower red midrange or control deck that values mana consistency and flexibility, especially in formats where hitting land drops is critical and games go long; the landcycling makes it a reasonable early stabilizer in multicolor or ramp shells that splash red, while later it can block flyers thanks to reach. However, five mana for what is presumably a modestly sized creature with no immediate impact is below rate in most competitive environments, and decks that want land smoothing typically prefer cheaper cyclers (like the basic landcycling creatures from Alara block) or more efficient fixing such as Fable of the Mirror-Breaker, Solemn Simulacrum, or actual ramp spells like Cultivate, while red midrange decks have far stronger five-drops (e.g., Glorybringer in Pioneer or Thundermaw Hellkite in older formats).
