Lavaleaper would fit best in an aggressive or combo-oriented red deck that wants to win quickly by maximizing tempo—especially strategies that can immediately capitalize on global haste and explosive mana, such as Gruul aggro, mono-red burn with creature bursts, or land-based combo decks that generate extra value from basic lands (like landfall or storm-adjacent builds). However, the card is symmetrical, meaning it also gives your opponent haste and bonus mana, which is extremely risky unless you are breaking parity the turn it comes down or winning immediately.
