Loki’s Scepter fits best in aggressive red decks—especially sacrifice (“aristocrats”), go-wide aggro, or combo-leaning builds—that can exploit temporary theft effects by attacking immediately or sacrificing the stolen creature for value; turning the creature into a Villain is mostly flavor unless you have Villain tribal synergies, but the untap + haste clause is strong for swing turns.
