Oneirophage would benefit a control or card draw-heavy deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it rewards the player for drawing cards by growing stronger. While it can be a solid addition to such decks, there are potentially better options like Thieving Skydiver or Consecrated Sphinx which offer more immediate impact or card advantage. However, Oneirophage could still see play in decks looking to capitalize on card draw synergies.
