Preeminent Captain would be a valuable addition to a white weenie or soldier tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a consistent way to put Soldier creatures onto the battlefield and apply pressure to the opponent. While there may be more powerful cards for certain strategies, such as Aether Vial for instant creature deployment, Preeminent Captain's ability to bring in Soldiers for free can be a strong advantage in the right deck and could see play in decks focused on aggressive creature strategies.
