“Puppyyyy” would fit best in a green-based stompy, Gruul, or Temur creature deck built around high-power creatures, +1/+1 counters, and attacking with a wide board; its Ferocious condition is easy to enable alongside 4-power threats, and repeatedly putting counters on every creature can snowball quickly. However, at five mana it is likely too slow and vulnerable for competitive formats, especially because it must survive until combat and attack to generate value; cards such as **Good-Fortune Unicorn**, **Renata, Called to the Hunt**, **Kami of Whispered Hopes**, **Tribute to the World Tree**, or **Master Chef** can provide counter support more efficiently depending on the format, while **Beast Whisperer** or **The Great Henge** may offer stronger payoff in creature-heavy decks.
