A creature-heavy deck, such as a tribal or token-based strategy, would benefit the most from using Vanquish the Horde as it can potentially be cast for a much lower cost. However, there are better board wipe options available in Magic: the Gathering, such as Wrath of God or Damnation, which have a fixed cost and don't rely on the number of creatures on the battlefield. Vanquish the Horde could see play in specific decks that can consistently flood the board with creatures, but it may not be as versatile or reliable as other board wipe options.
