A deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and controlling the battlefield would benefit from using The Dead Shall Serve in Magic: the Gathering. This card is particularly useful in strategies that revolve around stealing opponents' creatures and using them against them. While there may be more efficient cards for similar effects, such as Rise of the Dark Realms or Living Death, The Dead Shall Serve can still be a fun and flavorful addition to a deck that aims to manipulate the graveyard and creatures on the battlefield.

If there are multiple combat phases in a turn, each of these creatures must attack its owner in each of them that it’s able to.

If, during your declare attackers step, one of these creatures is tapped or is affected by a spell or ability that says it can’t attack, then it doesn’t attack. If there’s a cost associated with having that creature attack, you aren’t forced to pay that cost, so it doesn’t have to attack in that case either.
