This card, Gift of Tusks, could be beneficial in a blue control deck that aims to neutralize powerful creatures with troublesome abilities by turning them into manageable 3/3 creatures. However, a more versatile option could be Pongify, which also turns a creature into a 3/3 but for a cheaper cost of U and at sorcery speed. While Gift of Tusks could have situational use, Pongify is generally considered the better option due to its efficiency and broader applicability in various deck archetypes.
