sAnS MERCY would be most advantageous in a deck focusing on controlling the battlefield and creating chaos for opponents, such as a Grixis control or chaos deck in Magic: the Gathering. While this card may have potential for disrupting the board state and causing significant life loss for opponents, it may not be as versatile or impactful as other high-cost cards available in those color combinations, such as Nicol Bolas, the Ravager, which offers a strong creature on its own and a recurring planeswalker ability. As a result, sAnS MERCY may be more of a niche card and might not see as much play compared to more versatile and high-impact cards in similar strategies.
