Dragonsoul Knight would be a great addition to a multicolor midrange or aggro deck that can support its mana cost and activate its powerful ability. While it offers versatility and a strong boost when transformed into a Dragon, other cards like Thundermaw Hellkite or Stormbreath Dragon may provide more immediate impact or better synergy with existing strategies. However, Dragonsoul Knight could still see play in the right deck that can take advantage of its abilities effectively.

When Dragonsoul Knight’s activated ability resolves, Dragonsoul Knight will gain flying and trample in addition to its other abilities. However, becoming a Dragon will make it lose all other creature types. It will no longer be a Human or a Knight.

You can activate Dragonsoul Knight’s ability more than once during a turn. The second time it resolves, it will probably have no visible effect other than giving Dragonsoul Knight another +5/+3.
