A deck focused on controlling the battlefield and stealing opponents' creatures, such as a Grixis Control deck, would benefit from using Edea, Possessed Sorceress. While she has a unique ability to gain control of creatures at the beginning of combat and offers card advantage when your owned creatures die, the Ward cost may be a bit high compared to other control options like Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God or Liliana, Dreadhorde General, which have larger impacts on the board state and provide more versatile options. In competitive play, Edea may not see as much play due to her high cost and situational ability.
