A deck focused on Dragons, or a ramp strategy aiming to get to this card's casting cost quickly, would benefit greatly from Ureni of the Unwritten in Magic: the Gathering. While its random card selection may not always guarantee the strongest outcome, it provides exciting and powerful options especially in a Dragon tribal deck. However, in competitive play, cards such as Scion of the Ur-Dragon offer more consistent tutoring for Dragons and may be preferred, but Ureni could see play in more casual Dragon-themed decks for the excitement it brings to the table.
