While it offers card draw whenever a nontoken creature dies, there are more efficient options like Grim Haruspex or Midnight Reaper that provide immediate card advantage without the need for additional mana investment. Harvester of Souls could see play in more casual or budget decks, but competitive decks would likely opt for more efficient card draw engines.
