Attuma, Atlantean Warlord clearly belongs in a **Merfolk tribal deck**, ideally in a **blue-based tempo or aggro shell** (Mono-Blue, Simic, or Azorius Merfolk) where you flood the board with cheap Merfolk and apply early pressure. The +1/+1 lord effect makes your board more threatening, while the attack-triggered card draw rewards going wide and turning creatures sideways, which fits aggressive tribal strategies perfectly. In casual or Commander Merfolk builds, this is solid value, especially with evasive Merfolk that reliably connect; however, in more competitive formats, there are generally stronger options. For example, **Lord of Atlantis** and **Master of the Pearl Trident** are more efficient two-mana lords with built-in evasion support, and **Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca** offers stronger card advantage and flexibility in Commander.
