Rogue Artificial Intelligence would mainly fit slow black artifact, graveyard, or reanimator decks that value an artifact creature, the option to discard it early to fix mana with basic landcycling, and a small surveil effect to stock the graveyard or improve draws; however, at six mana, gaining 3 life or surveilling 2 is far below rate unless the card also has exceptionally strong combat stats or another major ability. In most decks, cheaper cards such as `Solemn Simulacrum` (mana fixing plus card value), `Skull Prophet` or `Stitcher's Supplier` (graveyard setup), and dedicated interaction or card-selection spells will be more efficient, while `Surveil` decks have substantially better payoffs and enablers at lower costs. As written, it should generally not see competitive play and would be only a marginal casual inclusion, with basic landcycling being its most useful feature.
