Mishra's Factory is a versatile card that can be beneficial in a variety of decks, particularly in aggro or midrange strategies where having a land that can also turn into a creature can provide additional pressure and flexibility. However, in more competitive environments, there are often better options available, such as creature lands like Celestial Colonnade or manlands like Mutavault, which offer more impactful abilities or stats. Mishra's Factory may still see play in certain budget or casual decks, but it may not be a top choice in more optimized strategies.

A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature can attack, and its abilities can be activated, only if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn. It doesn’t matter how long the permanent has been a creature.
