While it can provide value upon death, there are more efficient cards like Hangarback Walker or Arcbound Ravager that offer similar benefits. However, in a deck looking to synergize with sacrifice effects or +1/+1 counter strategies, Sparring Construct could find a place, especially in a budget or casual setting.
