Twilight Diviner would fit best in a black-based graveyard recursion or “aristocrats” style deck that repeatedly casts or returns creatures from the graveyard, such as Orzhov (WB) or Golgari (BG) reanimator, Muldrotha-style value decks in Commander, or Standard shells built around self-mill and recursion, since its surveil 2 fuels the graveyard while its once-per-turn trigger rewards you for reanimating creatures by copying one of them for extra value; it’s especially strong with creatures that have powerful enter-the-battlefield effects. However, whether it sees play depends heavily on format speed and synergy density—cards like Lurrus of the Dream-Den (in formats where legal), Muldrotha, the Gravetide, or even older staples like Sun Titan and Sheoldred, Whispering One offer more consistent or higher-impact recursion engines, and in faster formats a three-mana value creature that requires setup may be too slow.
