With a reactive plan and simultaneously scaling value, this list will be the nightmare of the main decks of the metagame: Gruul Adventures with 31.8% of the meta, UB Rogues with 19.5% of the meta and Mono Green Food wth 13.6% of the meta.

Abusing the main removal cards of the format Skyclave Apparition, Extinction Event, Elspeth Conquers Death, Heartless Act, Mythos of Nethroi, Elspeth's Nightmare and the reinforcement of Wicked Wolf. Matches against aggro in general will be very favorable.

Abzan Mid HG also has a great development against UB Rogues, since the restriction of having 80 Yorion, Sky Nomad main deck cards sabotages one of the main angles of attack of the deck: the mill. Your post side gains very strong cards: Chainweb Aracnir and Polukranos, Unchained that will make your opponent's life very difficult.

Talking a little bit about Mono Green, besides the creature removals, we have extremely strong interactions against the main keycards of the deck that are artifacts or enchantments: Trail of Crumbs, Witch's Oven and The Great Henge.

Abzan's interaction pieces include Elspeth Conquers Death, Mythos of Nethroi and Skyclave Apparition.

Let's go to the deck and its sideboard guide:

This match is considered favorable and with the entry of Extinction Event and the Polukranos, Unchained on the post side game, we will have plenty of resources to interact with the opponent's board. The main plan is to interact with the first creatures so he won't cast The Great Henge early and take the game to lategame.

Dimir Rogues

Game 1 will be the closest to play especially when UB Rogues comes in with a good hand. In contrast to the post side, the deck comes insane and the advantage goes to Abzan. Not letting him come strong in aggro and abusing escape spells, the probability of winning against UB Rogues is great.

Here you just can't let The Great Henge without an answer.

The Skyclave Apparition's main target is Witch's Oven, however tempting it may seem to use it on another target, it can cost the game.

Here we have the bad match ladies and gentlemen! Yes, a Genesis ultimatum without an answer hurts deep inside the soul. So we have as main plan to fit Agonizing Remorse and Elspeth's Nightmare well, that said the game can be developed quite well by us if we play our discard spells accordingly.

We pay special attention to the opponent's graveyard, fitting our discards and Skyclave Apparition with targets in Doom Foretold and Mazemind Tome, it will be a smooth game.

Here we work on the side in / side out in the same way as against Gruul. The game plan is very similar for us, to hold the opponent's explosive start and take him to the late game. There they will be completely dominated by our value threats.

This will be the list that I will use at the beginning of HG TOUR 2021, for the other tournaments visit herelink outside website.

I hope you enjoyed! I will be back soon with more lists created by the team and / or that are highlighted in the metagame. A big hug and see you soon.
